Although my family moved frequently when I was growing up, I call New Mexico home. This has fostered a lifetime love of Mexican food, Hatch green chile and the desert. I've been happy to call Phoenix home since 2008.
I have always had a passion for animals and am thankful that I can work with them every day. I recently watched a program that took dogs into corporate offices to facilitate stress reduction for the employees. I realized how lucky I am that I get that privilege every day!
My path to veterinary medicine was convoluted as I explored a few other career options. But in the end, this was the perfect fit for me. I currently have a golden retriever and two cats that are very special members of my family. I cherish that bond and appreciate the opportunity to be a part of that relationship between my clients and their pets.
In my free time, I love camping, hiking, and traveling with my daughter and husband. I lead a Girl Scout troop and love yoga, cooking, gardening, and reading good fiction.
